Care information

At latitud18n we are mindful about our environment. Our candles are hand poured and made in small batches, we use the finest ingredients, aesthetic labels, and we make a careful selection of exquisite and unique high-quality fragrance scents.

We use organic wax such as coconut soy and soy wax. These ingredients are biodegradable, and don't release harmful chemicals when burned. Our candles are non-toxic, free from harmful chemicals and synthetic additives like paraffin wax, which is derived from petroleum and releases toxic fumes when burned.                                                                              

Burning       

When lighting for the first time burn until wax melts across entire surface this will prevent tunneling and create an even burn for the duration of the candle’s life. Do not burn your candle all the way down. Always leave at least ½ inch of non-melted wax at the bottom. Trim the candle wick before each burn, this will prevent the candle from smoking or from burning the sides of the glass.

Storing 

Always store your candles in a cool, dark and dry place. Avoid placing your candles where they will be directly exposed to sunlight or harsh indoor lighting.

Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it out of the reach of children and pets, and ensure it is on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
